I love this wine, every time I bring out a bottle to offer a sample I can see the look in the faces of the people thinking ‘What am I being given here?’ But always without fail it is a winner. Rubis is a blend of fortified Tempranillo and premium chocolate flavour. Tempranillo is a superb Spanish grape that when aged becomes the backbone of Rioja. The warmth of the chocolate aroma is soft and velvety and backed up with full red fruit, raspberry and cherry. This is mooth on the palate, the finish is full of cherry right to the end.
A great alternative to a pudding wine, this is gorgeous over ice and will accompany any chocolate pudding or cake.
