The Lovers Rum is a marriage of fine Rum from the Caribbean and Latin America blended to perfection with each rum adding its own character and flavour.
Tasting notes:
On the nose there is nice sweetness of tropical fruit and a hint of smoke and toasted pineapple that develops into peppery dryness but does not lose all of the fruity charm
The pallet gives even more fruit with pineapple, banana and passion fruit it feels like soft caramel is about to takeover and it is there, but the rum has other ideas and surprises you with pepper and cinnamon and lovely oak and the sharpness of pine that lingers on until you are left in love with the final fruity finish.
Not only is this a very fine rum the packaging is beautiful too and makes for the perfect gift for your rum lover.
