Pierre Ferrand 10 Generations Grande Champagne Cognac

£41.00

Tasting Notes

On the Nose there is plenty of dried fruit and fruit cake, apricot and caramel, there are also floral notes of orange blossom and violet and finished with ginger and cinnamon spice.

The palet: A sublime assault on the senses a sweet Cognac but not overly cloying, soft toffee enticing tropical notes of pineapple and apricot, and plenty of dried fruit, rich earthy and floral notes like haybales standing in a meadow and spicy tobacco, the blend really benefits from a 46% ABV which gives it extra body and length.

This makes for a perfect after-dinner digestive, it will pair with most puddings and cheese and maybe a Romeo and Juliet Cigar.
